Brow lamination is an eyebrow lifting treatment that is taking the beauty world by storm. Our 4 step procedure is so easy that you don't need to be a professional to use our lamination kit! The Ibrou lamination system works by breaking down the keratin bonds in the eyebrow hair brows to create a full, lifted and fluffy appearance. By implementing our step-by-step application guide, you too can achieve thicker and lifted brows in less than 30 minutes !
Yes, we have a step-by-step guide you can follow: Step 1: Gently apply a thin coat of IBROU’s Brow Lamination Adhesive throughout the eyebrow. Using a disposable spoolie brush, comb the brows in a vertical direction. Essentially, you want to set the brows in the direction you desire to laminate them in. Finish by applying the IBROU Skin Barrier Lotion around the brows to protect the skin. Step 2: Apply one pump of the Perming Solution on each brow with a micro applicator. Be assiduous with the application to ensure the solution is only in contact with the treated area. Once the Perming Solution has been applied, place the Brow Wrap on the eyebrows firmly to ensure the brow hairs are fixed in a vertical position and leave for 5-8 minutes. Step 3: Remove the Brow Wrap and Perming Solution with a dry cotton tip. Apply one pump of Fixing Solution on both brows with a new micro tip. Cover again using the Brow Wrap to fix the hairs into place. Leave on for 5-8 minutes. Step 4: Remove the Brow Wrap and Fixing Solution carefully with a dry microfiber tip. At this stage we recommend adding the eyebrow tint to add a pop of colour to the brow hairs. The tint should only be left for a short period as the lamination process will make the hair quite porous. Step 5: Apply the IBROU Nourishing Lotion to both brows. Gently place a generous amount to ensure both hair and skin is covered. Remove with a dry cotton tip or pad after 3-5 minutes. Step 6: Following the lamination process, we recommend applying the IBROU Brow Conditioner daily in the shower. This is a specially formulated conditioner that locks moisture into both the skin and brow hairs after the lamination is complete. PLEASE NOTE: The brow shape takes up to 48 hours for the bonds to secure into the desired place. The correct aftercare must be followed for 48 hours post-treatment to ensure the best results are achieved.
Longevity is generally dependent on how well aftercare instructions are followed during the 48 hours post-treatment. Results should last anywhere between 4-6 weeks.
The IBROU Lamination Kit comes with a larger content capacity than traditional lamination kits and can service up to 35 clients.
We do not recommend lamination for pregnant or breastfeeding women as potential contact with chemicals can enter the bloodstream. However, if you would like to go ahead with the procedure, we suggest you consult your GP first.
It is best that no waxing is performed before the treatment. The best option for waxing is post-treatment. However, we recommend tweezing the brows opposed to waxing.
Yes. However, you cannot leave it on for too long as the hairs are quite porous and can potentially darken or lighten quickly in a very short period. The tint should be left on for no longer than 2-3 minutes.
We recommend Refectocil tints to be used in conjunction with the lamination lotions to achieve optimal results.
Yes. The Ibrou professional range is vegan and cruelty-free formulated.
